Well-Known ROM Site EmuParadise Removes All ROMs After Recent Legal Actions

Recommended Videos

Following Nintendo filing lawsuits against LoveROMs and LoveRETRO.co, another well-known ROM site, EmuParadise, has also removed all ROMs from their site, citing potentially disastrous consequences.

While Nintendo’s lawsuit was not stated outright to be the direct reason, the EmuParadise team states that the situation regarding emulation sites has been changing recently, though this is not something new to the site.

However, it wasn’t worth it for them to “risk potentially disastrous consequences”, as well as the futures of the team behind the site. Therefore, all ROMs have been removed for now, although the site will continue to host video game emulators.

The team ended the update with a thank-you to the community, and that they hope EmuParadise will continue to be the premium destination for emulation.
